With the start of the new academic year, I would like to recommend a film called 'Tears In The Fabric' which is an excellent choice for screening in schools, universities or campaign meetings. It is free to watch and you will never forget it.
A review I wrote of the film can be found here:
"Tears In The Fabric is a portrait of grief and struggle in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The story is told through the eyes of Razia Begum, Grandmother to two small boys orphaned when their parents were killed in the Rana Plaza garment factory collapse...
..Ultimately it is one of the most chilling indictments against capitalism and the fashion industry that you will ever see. Tears In The Fabric is not easy to watch but watch it you must."
Find the free download and more information over at the Tears In The Fabric site.
